Terms & Conditions

Music. Lyrics. Rights.

Version 1.1 · Last updated 17 October 2026

Please ask before using the music elsewhere.

The recordings are here for you to listen and enjoy. Anything beyond personal, non-commercial listening needs the relevant permission, unless the law provides an exception. AI-assisted elements remain subject to applicable law and service terms.

01About these terms

These Terms & Conditions govern access to the Wee Tunes website, its music recordings, lyrics, artwork and other materials (the Website). In these terms, ‘Wee Tunes’, ‘we’, ‘us’ and ‘our’ refer to the operator of the Website using that name; ‘you’ refers to a visitor. Enquiries, permission requests and complaints can be submitted using our Contact Me page.

Please read these terms before using the Website. Your access is subject to these terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. If you do not agree, do not use the Website except to exercise any rights available to you by law. These terms are not a sale, assignment of copyright or commercial music licence.

02Music listening and the current service

The Website offers available full recordings for personal listening, information about the songs, and a means of making enquiries. Some listed songs may not yet have a recording available. Streaming access is not a downloadable product and availability of a song does not mean it is offered for sale or that licensing rights are available.

No purchase facility is currently offered. Any future sales, downloads, bundles or paid services will require applicable product information, prices, licence terms and checkout conditions before an order is placed. These terms do not waive future statutory cancellation, refund or digital-content rights.

03Copyright and ownership

Original human-written lyrics are protected by copyright where the legal requirements for protection are met. Copyright in those lyrics remains with their author or other lawful rights holder. Unless expressly stated otherwise, Wee Tunes reserves all rights it owns or is authorised to exercise in the Website’s lyrics, compositions, recordings, artwork, text, design and other content.

Rights in a composition, its lyrics, a sound recording, a performance and artwork are separate. A right or permission relating to one does not automatically give rights in the others. No copyright, publishing interest, master ownership or other intellectual property is transferred by viewing the Website, listening to a recording, making an enquiry or paying for a service unless a separate written agreement expressly says so.

The Wee Tunes name and logo must not be used to imply endorsement, partnership or affiliation without written permission. Nothing in these terms asserts that the name or logo is a registered trade mark.

04AI-assisted music and third-party rights

The songs feature original human-written lyrics and may use AI-assisted music, vocals or production. The existence, extent and ownership of rights in AI-assisted elements can depend on applicable law, human contributions and the terms of the relevant tools or services. These terms do not claim exclusive copyright in every AI-generated element or guarantee that every element is protectable in every country.

We can only grant rights that we own or are authorised to license. Third-party rights, service restrictions and necessary clearances remain applicable. Before any commercial licence is agreed, the particular rights and intended use must be checked. No recording is represented as a performance by a named real artist, or as endorsed by an artist or brand, unless expressly stated and authorised.

05Limited permission to listen

Subject to these terms, you may access the Website and stream the available recordings through the provided player for your own personal, non-commercial listening. Ordinary temporary copies required for legitimate browsing and playback are permitted to the extent necessary for that use.

This limited permission is non-exclusive and non-transferable. It does not authorise downloading or extracting audio, copying lyrics, redistribution, public performance, broadcast, synchronisation, sampling, adaptations, commercial use or use in other products. Any separate permission must be obtained in writing, except where the law permits the use without permission.

06Uses requiring permission

Except where expressly authorised in writing or permitted by applicable law, you must not copy, rip, record, download, reproduce, publish, upload, distribute, sell, share or otherwise exploit protected lyrics, music, recordings or artwork from the Website; remove ownership notices or metadata; or pass the material off as your own.

The same restriction applies to sampling, remixing, translating or adapting protected material; using it with films, adverts, games, podcasts, social videos or other media; registering it with a distributor, collecting society or content-identification service as your own; or using the material to falsely claim rights against its lawful owner.

Do not use protected content for training, fine-tuning or evaluating AI or machine-learning models, creating datasets, voice imitation or automated content generation without the relevant rights holder’s written authorisation, except to the extent the use is permitted by applicable law. Public access does not itself constitute permission for these purposes.

07Lawful exceptions and reserved rights

Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts uses that applicable law permits without permission, including relevant fair dealing, quotation, criticism, review, parody, accessibility or other statutory exceptions where their conditions are met. These terms do not create intellectual property rights that do not exist in law.

Where a use requires permission, crediting Wee Tunes, using only a short excerpt, not charging money, or describing the use as educational does not by itself supply that permission. If you are unsure whether your proposed use is permitted, seek independent advice or contact us.

08Licensing and working together

Requests to perform, record, publish, sample or commercially use a song must identify the song, the requested rights, intended media, territory, duration, distribution and commercial context. Permission is not granted by silence, an enquiry, a discussion, a quote or the availability of a recording.

A licence or collaboration is effective only when its scope and conditions have been expressly agreed in writing by the relevant rights holders. Any agreed restrictions, credit requirements, fees, royalties, payment timing and third-party clearances apply. Exclusivity, ownership transfer, co-writing shares and publishing or master rights must be expressly agreed; they are not implied.

09Enquiries and submitted material

Only submit information or material that you have the right to share. Do not send confidential concepts, complete unreleased lyrics, sensitive personal information or other restricted material unless we have first agreed suitable arrangements in writing. Submitting an enquiry does not create a confidential relationship, commission, partnership, agency or obligation to work together.

You retain your rights in material you submit. You give us only the limited permission reasonably needed to receive, review and respond to your enquiry. An enquiry does not authorise us to publish your material or commercially exploit it. Personal information is handled as described in the contact privacy notice.

10Website security and acceptable use

You must not interfere with the Website, introduce malicious software, attempt unauthorised access, circumvent access or playback restrictions, harvest contact or personal information, or submit abusive, deceptive, unlawful or infringing messages. Automated access must not disrupt the service or infringe applicable rights.

We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to address misuse, security risks or legal obligations. Where practicable and appropriate, we will act proportionately. Measures taken under this clause do not remove rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11Copyright complaints and enforcement

If you believe material on the Website infringes your rights, contact us with your name and contact details, identification of the protected work, the exact location of the disputed material, an explanation of your rights and any supporting evidence. Please identify whether you act for the rights holder. Do not submit false or misleading claims.

We will consider credible complaints and may seek further information, restrict disputed material or take other appropriate action. A complaint is not automatically an admission of infringement. Where our rights are infringed, we reserve the right to seek remedies available under applicable law, including removal requests, injunctions, damages or other financial relief. Legal costs are recoverable only where agreed lawfully or awarded under applicable rules.

12Availability, descriptions and external services

We aim to describe the songs and recordings accurately, but information may be corrected or updated. We do not promise uninterrupted access, compatibility with every device or that the Website will be free from every error or security risk. Songs or recordings may be changed or removed, subject to any separate contractual commitments and statutory rights.

External links or services, where provided, are governed by their own terms. We do not control third-party content and a link does not imply endorsement. You remain responsible for deciding whether to use an external service.

13Liability and consumer rights

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability, duty or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Subject to that protection, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, or for business losses arising from use of this personal-listening music service. We do not exclude responsibility where doing so would be unfair or unlawful, including applicable rights relating to digital content or damage to a device caused by a failure to exercise reasonable care and skill.

No blanket indemnity or automatic penalty is imposed on visitors. Any claim for unauthorised use must be assessed under applicable law. Separate commercial agreements may contain their own lawful liability provisions.

14Privacy and contact information

When you contact us, your enquiry information is handled under the contact privacy notice on the Contact Me page. It is used to manage your enquiry and related discussions, not to sign you up for marketing. Please use that page for privacy requests as well as licensing and copyright questions.

These Website terms are not a substitute for any additional privacy or cookie information required for particular services. Any new tracking, accounts, marketing or sales features require appropriate information and, where required, consent before they are introduced.

15Changes to these terms

We may update these terms to reflect changes to the Website, our services or legal requirements. The version and date are shown on this page. Changes apply prospectively and do not retrospectively alter a licence or other agreement already made. Material changes affecting an existing contractual relationship require any notice or agreement required by law.

If any part of these terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue only to the extent they can lawfully do so. Failure or delay to enforce a provision does not automatically waive the relevant right. A separate written licence controls where it expressly overrides these Website terms for its subject matter.

16Applicable law and disputes

Disputes are subject to the applicable law and jurisdiction determined by the relevant legal rules. Nothing in these terms deprives a consumer of mandatory protections under the law of their country of habitual residence or of access to a court that the law permits them to use. No exclusive governing-law or court choice is imposed by these Website terms.

Please contact us first with the details of a concern so that we can try to resolve it informally. This does not prevent you from seeking legal advice, exercising statutory remedies or making a complaint to a relevant authority.
